Piotr Fedorczyk (http://www.interactivethings.com/team/#piotr_fedorczyk), an interaction designer at Interactive Things, just recently came back from Qatar where, over the past couple of months, he was engaged with Al Jazeera Media Network contributing to the launch of Palestine Remix—a new online resource wrapping the history of Palestine in a fresh vest.

At PalestineRemix.com (http://www.palestineremix.com), 21 hours of film documentaries produced by Al Jazeera over the course of the last decade have found their new form and home where users can not only engage with the top quality content, but—thanks to an innovative media editing library for the web—also produce their own interpretations.

Piotr will talk about his experience working from within a large news organisation and tell us all about how Palestine Remix came to life.
