#HackTheConstitution pt 2: The constitution strikes back

Details
South Africa’s constitution is one of the most impressive pieces of legal writing in the world.
Just like older, better known documents of its ilk it enshrines the vision of the founding fathers of our young democracy, and will continue to do so for many generations to come.
But how many people have read the full 180-odd page document, or are aware of any but the best known rights that are laid out within?
We don’t think it’s enough. And we don’t think people are proud enough of this amazing vision for society or realise how important it is either.
We got an idea for changing that, and we want you to help. On Thursday 26th May we’re calling for writers, coders, UX designers, artists, lawyers and more to join us for our second planning session for #HackTheConstitution. It’s early days yet, and the final product could be a web app, a booklet, a graffiti tag, a design festival, a wiki whatever you want it to be. What we have so far is a core group of committed people who want to make something wonderful, accessible to all. We also have a Slack channel for getting things done. What more do we need? You. Want to find out more? Join us on Thursday 26th at Jozihub, starting at 6pm.
