Michael is an interactive news reporter at Al Jazeera America. He's also one of the people behind NewsLynx, which aims to "quantitatively and qualitatively measure the impact of journalism".

2. Brian T. Jacobs @btjakes

Brian is a Knight-Mozilla fellow at ProPublica. He'll talk satellite imagery, with particular reference to this project he worked on.

All three speakers are here in town for Mozilla Festival MozFest.

  I don't think so. I'm not sure how the waiting list works but if it's first come, first served, then you can have it! Otherwise if there's a waiting list queue then I presume the first in line will have been notified via email.
