It has been two fortnights since last we met to drink and debate the future of news. Alas, it is time to embark on this enterprise again!

You asked for it. We plan to deliver on it.

Please save the date -- Thursday, June 18, 2015 -- for Hacks/Hackers YVR's first ever Data Visualization Show & Tell!

Show & Tell talks to begin at 7 pm with:

-Iain Begg (@iainbegg) - Instructor at VIVA (Vancouver Institute of Visual Analytics) - presenting "Political power shifts" 

-Johanna Fulda (@jofu_) - Grad student, UBC InfoVis Group - presenting TimeLineCurator

-Ash Kelly (@ashdkelly) - Reporter with Discourse Media -  presenting "Moving Forward: a data journalism project about the future of transportation in Metro Vancouver"

-Arik Ligeti (@arikligeti) - Digital Editor, Globe and Mail - presentation TBC
