The very nice folks over at the Department of Neighborhood & Business Development of Rochester ( http://www.cityofrochester.gov/nbd/ ) have offered to give us on-site training for their Neighborhood Data Map ( http://www.cityofrochester.gov/neighborhooddatamap/ ).
We would like to start the meeting at 7pm to discuss current business and then have the training start at 7:30pm. If you are a new member (or someone who hasn't been to a meeting in a while), we encourage you to come at 7pm so you can come up to speed on our current projects.
The meeting with be on the 5th floor of WXXI. Feel free to park in their parking garage just right of the main entrance (note: if this is full just park the parking garage).
Looking forward to seeing everyone for this great experience put on by the NBD!

I uploaded the spatial data that Pam sent to our "files" section for the meetup group. We should work out a time we can all get together to look at it.

Pam emailed me back and said she should be able to email me the shapefile with the data this week or beginning of next week. I can then upload it to the "files" section of our group so everyone can take a look at it.

Did anyone get an email for Pam or Henry to follow and get the shapefile from them with the City data?

This does look awesome. I don't move to Rochester til January, but will keep an eye on this project; I am interested in learning more about applications of GIS and analytics.

Meetup has allowed me to meet people I wouldn't have met naturally - they're totally different than me.
