Hadoop Use Cases

Spotify recently made the news (http://www.zdnet.com/spotify-changes-tune-on-hadoop-with-switch-to-hortonworks-7000020712/) when it was announced that it'll be using Hortonworks' distribution on its 690-node Hadoop cluster. At this meetup, Spotify's Wouter de Bie will talk about details of Spotify's data infrastructure.

He will be joined by Jens Kühlers from Google who'll be speaking about using Hadoop with Google Cloud Platform, including Google Compute Engine's TeraSort record.
