Hadoop Overview and Big Data Trends

It's been a while since we last had a get together. We have a special guest from Cloudera (http://www.cloudera.com) in town so we thought of getting him over for a chat and to share his views on the latest trends in Big Data. We will also run a quick overview of Hadoop for those who haven't had the chance to learn more about the technology. Please make sure you mark your calendars and RSVP.

Fadi is passionate about Hadoop and Big Data, with a track record in large scale enterprise architectures. He seeks to build the community of Hadoop and Big Data professionals in the Middle East.

Duncan Paul (http://uk.linkedin.com/in/duncanpaul) - Cloudera Account Executive, EMEA. Duncan has a long track record in Big Data now at Cloudera and earlier at HP Autonomy. He believes that the need for Hadoop is no longer a question. The only question now is how to take advantage of it best.
