Tez vs Spark

Details

Many of us know about Spark, tried it and studied it. In the same time there is another Map-Reduce successor called Tez. http://tez.apache.org/
Conceptually it is very similar to Spark - it allows us to run arbitrary computational graph inside hadoop cluster.
I never worked with Tez, but I will do my best to get inside and try to explain what is Tez, how it is built and compare it to Spark.
If you did some Tez evaluations, and willing to share them - please let me know.

Sizmek, our host will present their big data developments.

I will take a few minutes to update you on progress on our ImpalaToGo
http://impala2go.info/ (we already have beta).
