Hitting F5 is enough to build ASP.NET (http://asp.net/) applications, but what about your static, non-.NET assets? In this talk, we'll go over a recent addition to Visual Studio's build tools, the task runner Gulp. We'll look at what Gulp is, why you want to use it, and how you can start using it to improve your builds today. We'll also touch on how to start using NPM, Gulp, and Browserify to manage your front-end dependencies like you use NuGet for .NET.
