I think we can all agree that running with a group is more fun than running alone especially on cold, rainy days, or long distances. Why not come meet people with similar interests and train for a race or two if that is your goal? We are a fun social group of runners, so come out and meetup with us.
We strive to promote running and fitness in the community. Our goal is to make this an active group and not just another list of people. We are currently looking for assistant organizers on the Pennisula and Chesapeake! If you are interested in becoming an assistant organizer drop me an email. We do ask that you are reliable and show up if you have scheduled a run.
We do recommend that if you are going to be running local races and want ro receive the local discounts from the running stores etc that you join the Tidewater Striders. 2 to 3 miles after hill work.
Meetup will happen regardless of weather (except lightning).
Come a few minutes early, because we start promptly at 5:30 AM.
