About Hampton Roads Runners

The Hampton Roads Runners is an informal running group designed to give runners in the Hampton Roads area a chance to run, share training advice, and motivate each other. The group originally started in VA Beach and was restructured in April 2008. A number of us run the local races in the area, so a good percentage of the races you can find someone from our group there. A few of our members are winning the races for their age groups. We are a very social fun group of group of runners and recently started a social and run once a month for members to meet one another at different ability levels.

We strive to promote an active group of runners. All ages and abilities are welcome!

This hearby serves as a waiver of liability .*Disclaimer* - - Be responsible for yourself, hydrate and stop if you feel shortness of breath, faint or dizzy. The organizers of HRR are not accountable for any injuries that may occur during a run.

We suggest that you check out the www.tidewaterstriders.com if you are a member of our group as with their membership they offer race discounts, discounts at some of the runing stores, and a few other places, plus traiing tips in their newsletter. We do try and meetup at the local races when one of the organizers is there.
