We began as a group inspired by Gretchen Rubin's book, website and blog, THE HAPPINESS PROJECT.

However, the Happiness Project Book seems to be a second step, many of us need to define what we would like to work on Martha Beck’s book “FINDING YOUR OWN NORTH STAR - claiming the life you were meant to live”, addresses this. We have regrouped and tweaked our plan a bit and will be adding in Beck’s book. We have finished that book and are now moving onto "The Way of the Happy Woman - Living the Best Year of Your Life" by Sara Avant Stover.

The group is for people who want to create or design a life that meets their needs, dreams and wants. Becoming an active participant in their life rather than passive.  It might just mean adding or subtracting something small or a radical overhaul, it will be different for each person based on their situation and desires. 

 

Being ready to create a project is not mandatory, but being interested is probably helpful. Some will have already started and others are just starting to think about it. As a group we will share ideas, encourage each other, and hold each other accountable for our resolutions. Basically, it is a cross between a book club and goals support group.
