Another Hardware 599 Meetup is coming on March 2nd! Please note, this time we will host the event at MediaTek Labs in San Jose (2840 Junction Avenue, San Jose) .

The meetup will be sponsored by MediaTek Labs. Its latest development platform, the MediaTek LinkIt™ Smart 7688 (http://home.labs.mediatek.com/hello7688/), enables rapid development of Wi-Fi enabled products for the smart home and office, such as advanced IP cameras, surveillance devices and smart appliances. Built on MediaTek MT7688AN SoC, this platform runs OpenWrt Linux and consists of a number of software development tools and two versions of HDK.

Lucas Wang, CEO of HWTrek (https://www.hwtrek.com/), will give a talk about taking advantage of the new China's supply chain developments as a guest speaker.

Five teams have confirmed to present at the meetup: ToneTree, GeoTraq, Anonabox, Sonic Scientific and Hardwarecon. Each team will have 5 minutes to present plus Q&A.

You are also encouraged to present your own products or ideas (up to 2 mins for each team, no slides, please sign up at the door) during the free demo session afterwards.
