SF Hardware Startup Meetup Jan 16th, 6pm - Sponsored by HWTrek

Details
Happy New Year Hardwarians!
We're looking to keep the hardware meetups moving full force in the new year, and to help kick it off:
HWTrek (http://www.hwtrek.com/) is sponsoring our first meetup of the year! HWTrek is an online platform that pairs hardware founders with manufacturing experts to help bring products to market better and quicker. Also, partnering with the Taiwan Mobile Innovation incubator (http://tmi.vc/), they've launched a hardware accelerator program to give funding and even more direct help to get your startup off the ground!
Hosting us is Cambrian Genomics (http://cambriangenomics.com/) - who've developed the first hardware system to laser-print DNA - enabling the mass-production of high-quality DNA. They've got a cool space in SOMA with wild hardware (and wetware) - so look forward to that too! They might even have some tours going for us!
- Demos
The event is centered around 2 minute lightning demos. The idea is that we get the first look at all the latest hardware companies in the area, and then we get to talk with them after! If you've got something new to demo - we want you! Put your name on the Sign-up Sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvKBkB2iZuisdGRKMFF4TGo5bUNXVGI5Wkl0T1dZU3c&usp=drive_web#gid=30) and you're in! How it Works: No slides, no projector, etc. - Just you, your prototype and a microphone for 2 minutes! Show up at 6pm sharp so you can make sure you get your spot!
- Volunteers
If you'd like to volunteer, please sign-up here (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1cX8FsEQ3kZBT00J0JjD1Ow9oik7Gu_riqZyADvzvoQk/viewform), and our co-organizer Robert Han will get back to you!
- Sponsors
If you'd like to sponsor this meetup, or know someone who would, please reach out to us to discuss further by emailing the "email organizer" link on here!
