*** This Is A Night Hike...Please Bring a Light ***

Wednesday...Better Known As Hump Day...Is The Middle of the Work Week. When We Finish Our Work On Wednesdays...We're Officially Over The Hump Toward The Weekend! What Better Way Is There To Enjoy Being Over The Hump Than By Actually Hiking Over The Hump? ;)

To That End, I'm Planning To Hike into Valley Forge on Wednesday Night From 6:15PM - 8:15PM. If Anyone Would Like To Join Me For An Over The Hump Night Hike...Please Feel Free To Do So.

We Meet At 6:00 PM: I'll Be At The Chesterbrook Shopping Center (The Far Left Front Side of the Parking Lot). Text/Call me at[masked] To Coordinate.

The Plan: I'll Be Hiking The Valley Forge Trails.

IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS IS A NIGHT HIKE! EVERYONE MUST BRING A HEADLAMP, FLASHLIGHT OR CELL PHONE WITH FLASHLIGHT APP!

Distance: Approx 5 - 7 Miles Total

Total Time: Approx 1.5 - 2 Hours

This hike is for INTERMEDIATE+ Hikers due to distance, hills and the pace (3.5 mph avg). Please note that whenever necessary I ALWAYS stop at various points along the way to let any slower hikers catch up whenever necessary. We leave no hikers behind! ;)

For those not familiar with Valley Forge Park and the trails surrounding the park...please be prepared for some hills and some rocky terrain on parts of the trails.

Sturdy shoes are recommended. Dress appropriately for weather conditions.

I may still hike during rain. Severe thunderstorms will most likely cancel hike (ON BAD WEATHER DAYS I WILL ALWAYS POST A HIKE STATUS IN COMMENTS AROUND 60-90 MINUTES PRIOR TO POSTED HIKE START TIME OR YOU CAN CALL/TEXT ME AT[masked] FOR AN UPDATE).

NOTICE: By attending an event you are agreeing that YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AT ALL TIMES. No member of the group EXCEPT YOURSELF can be held responsible for any damages, accidents, or liabilities incurred while hiking with us.

As always, I want to make it clear that I do plan to lead my hikes always observing Safety First...but also with the intention that these hikes should be fun, enjoyable, relaxing and non-stressful social meetups...with a bit of a work out too.

Let's Go For a Walk! I Look Forward to Seeing You There! ;)

Thanks Paul for leading the hike. It was both exhausting and exhilarating.

Paul, that was simply an awesome hike, last night. Boy, that was amazing how sunset just crept up on us, though. Well, we’ll know for next time. I just want to say thanks to all of you H5 hikers, who had the foresight to have your head lamps with you, it would of been difficult going without them.
Also, thanks to the very understanding park rangers, and thanks to you Paul, for the very calm, cool, collected manner in which you conducted yourself and kept control on a simple miscalculation of time
    You are a true leader.

Since hiking in the snow is getting old, it's fortunate that we had the meeting with the park rangers to keep things interesting. #H5

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
