COURTSEY POSTING: Women: Ambassadors of Peace

Details
The Connecticut Women’s Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community invites you to their first ever women’s interfaith event! I have confirmed and all women are welcome to attend. I would love to see Humanism brought to the interfaith table and this looks like an excellent opportunity to do so.
From their flyer: "Come take part in a creative and engaging dialogue between local female leaders and community members of various faiths and communities. Learn and empower yourself with educative discussions addressing simplistic stereotypes about women in Islam and other faiths by highlighting the inspiring and revolutionary roles of women throughout history and in the current day –in all spheres of society."
Please RSVP through their site at http://bit.ly/1TdW73r
And a special thank you to The Unitarian Universalist Church in Meriden for sharing this information.
