When chartered the Haslet Lions Clubs will be a part of Lions Clubs International, the largest service club in the world.

Haslet is one of the most explosive areas of the country right now. Let's form a Lions Club that has a mission: to serve those less fortunate than ourselves, making friends and business partners at the same time. Based on the proposed format there will be no professional limitations as our primary goal is to serve others. Are you interested in becoming a charter member of a group that meets twice a month help grow this group through the focus on needs in our community? Please join us for an informational meeting on June 15th at 6:30 p.m. in the Haslet Community Center. The cost to join this group is $30.00 (per person or couple) application fee and approximately $10.00 a month dues. Canidates for the Haslet Lions Club are those who live or work in Haslet or the general area that would like to join with others that know together we can make a difference. We will need a minimum of 20 committed members to Charter a club.

MISSION STATEMENT OF LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL: "To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions Clubs."
