EVERY week, at the Tarrytown Public Library. 6:00 to 8:45pm. THURSDAYS
It is a meetup at the village library, completely free, and with no specific requirements!! I don't monitor this website anymore.... No need to join or rsvp or message me. Show up if you are free on thursdays !!!
If you have ever played chess and enjoyed it win or lose, then please join us.
Bring a board and pieces or show up without one, but have a friendly attitude.
Its been a nice meetup for 9 years now... usually there are 6 or more people....Hope you can make it over to the library and see if it is a nice fit for your chess habit.... -Jeremy
Friendly banter and analysis and competition.
Most play blitz, 5 minute. But we can happily accommodate a beginner who wishes to play without time controls, and of course an experienced player who wants a 10 or 15 minute game will never be turned away.
Its quiet conversational chess but definitely not a silent tournament style club... FEEL FREE to come play and/or watch, and talk, and ask questions...
Bring a board if you have one... No need to RSVP. just show up when it fits your schedule...
