About the place : Ammenpur lake is a bounteous lake with full of many variety fishes like catla, carp , rohu , snakeheads(korameenu) & Catfishes. the speciality of this lake is it even has gaint fresh water king prawns. the below image is from our previous catch

How do we go: once date is sheduled we shall plan the ideal time for fishing .
What do we do: there are 3 main methods of recreational fishing practiced commonly .
Angling We use angling or fishing rod with wheat flour as bait this method is used to catch fishes bigger than 1 kg.
Handline Fishing: we use a free fishing line with earthworms as bait this method is used to catch fresh water King prawns,
bamboo rod fishing : we use this method to catch small fish & the bait is usually earthworms
Shedule: we shall be fishing for 2-3 hours depending upon the mood but Patience is the main key for fishing , if u r not sure to have it then please dont RSVP for this event.
What to bring:
- Water bottle (enough to carry at least 2 liters of water).
2)Energy Food ( Chocolate bars, Flavored milk, Electrolyte drinks - Glucon-D, etc ).
3)Garbage bag to collect any litter we may create (or other people have created).
Rs 50 shall be collected from each member which includes club maintenance charges & Equipment charges.
What to wear: no sandals as we have to climb few rocks terrain to reach this place so wear shoes
Guidelines:
Fishing requires patience equals that of painting, the more concentration the better chances of catch
