"We live the spiritual life beginning where we are today. We look to see the hand of Divine Spirit guiding us toward the greater consciousness, which leads us to becoming a more direct vehicle for Spirit." Youth Ask A Modern Prophet about Life, Love, and God, Harold Klemp, p. 103.
The ECK Worship Service is open to everyone. Led by the Eckankar clergy, the service has the spiritual theme listed above and begins with a short reading. Participants are invited to share in the singing of the HU Song, which is an ancient non-denominational love song to God. It is followed by a short silent contemplation. Speakers and group discussions allow all to share and explore the spiritual theme. The receptivity of the participants to listen to each other gives attendees an opportunity to speak from their hearts. Often attendees come away with new insights for their own lives. The atmosphere and dress are informal.
