Thank you for being part of the Tarot meetup - it is wonderful and fun to get to know you all and share Tarot with you.
We have ever-changing groups and you never know who will show up. (There are always RSVPed people who don't appear as well as surprise appearances by people who just show up.) I guide everyone through the spreads that I bring and am always amazed by how easily even complete Tarot beginners get something out of the cards. If you have particular questions or issues that you would like to know how to design a spread around, please let me know.
I am starting a 5 week class in Santa Rosa on Tuesday, February 18th (details under "Pages") or on my website (doorwaystarot.com). There are still spaces available. While the meetups are all about putting the cards to work, the classes are about learning the meanings of all of the cards. Let me know if the class is for you.
I recently mentioned the book Journeying the Sixties: a counterculture Tarot in a "Discussion", but if you missed it - visit the site to see all of the cards and read how they came about. Author and photographer William Cook Haigwood presents us with a Tarot deck that is real, alive and grappling with what matters. It's a one of a kind approach to the Tarot.
If I am repeating information you already had, please forgive me. When I post something as a "page" or "discussion" I never know if people find these posts.
Feel free to add your comments to anything that shows up. I would be very interested to know what you all think of Journeying the Sixties.
I look forward to seeing you at a meetup soon!
