What topic would you like to see discussed at the Health 2.0 London meetups?

Datamining in many forms. The pipeline between research results to treatment recommendations to measuring outcomes. How to engage patients for effective behavior change. Mobile technologies for doctors and patients.

Tell us about your view and contributions (past, present or future) to healthcare innovation/technology

The advent of mobile technologies brings a huge opening for improving healthcare at all levels. I'm aiming at improving public health through mobile technologies. In the past, my contributions have been more on the basic research level -- I did basic research in fMRI in 1990, measured GPCR structures in 2003, and a few more things in between that might be relevant. You can see more on my LinkedIn page.

What is your company and what do they do. What is your role there?

I'm the founder of Sunlight Scientific limited. Visit us at And if you want to get your vitamin D, and maybe a tan, try our iPhone app: iSunHealth. What's my role? I wear all the hats.

What are your goals for joining this group and how can we help you achieve them?

1) learn something new. 2) meet people. 3) learn something different. 4) network. 5) learn something else. 6) have a conversation with someone over the age of 9.

Please enter your email address, and remember to have your full name on the profile, thanks!

That sounds like a great opportunity. Yes.

Hi. I'm an iPhone programmer, a PhD chemist, and a stay at home mum.
