Hello and welcome to our group! Everybody is welcome to come and observe or experience what a Bible study from a Hebraic perspective is like. We want to get back to the Jewish roots of Christianity. We desire to know who the Messiah is and what he did by thoroughly searching and studying the Old and New Testament writings of the Bible. Our desire is to study together and grow spiritually by learning from one another and sharing Spirit led revelations from Scripture (both Old and New Testaments.)
Perhaps you are a Christian searching for a deeper understanding of who the Messiah is? Maybe you desire to keep the Sabbath, or are being led to learn more about the Jewish roots of your faith? Perhaps you are looking for a deeper understanding of who the Hebrew Messiah ("Jesus') is and what he did? Your desire to know Him far exceeds traditions and doctrines of men. You are willing to leave your Western Gentile mind set behind and explore how you have been "grafted into the common wealth of Israel" (Romans Ch. 11:13-25) and are no longer "strangers and foreigners" (Ephesians 2:19) to the Covenant.
Are you Jewish by descent? Were you raised in the Synagogue studying Torah, observing Shabbas, and learning to read and write Hebrew? Naturally you do not identify with the Greek Jesus of the Bible. Did you know that the Torah prophesies of Mashiach, Yahoshuah, commonly referred to as "Jesus"? Yahoshua is referenced all throughout the Torah. Come and study Torah with us. Let's share the wealth of knowledge from both perspectives and grow together.
Perhaps you are ethnically Jewish and have been raised without Torah and desire to return to your roots? You know that there is a calling on your life and want to explore your spiritual gifts and the faith that has been passed down through your generations. You know that there is a piece missing to the puzzle and just don't know how to connect the dots. Come, join us!
Or maybe you are a Messianic believer? You have fully embraced Yahoshuah (Jesus) as Messiah. You desire to keep the Feasts and observe the Sabbath. You know that the Torah is profitable for "doctrine, reproof and correction" (II Timothy 3:16) and desire to obey your heavenly Father and walk in His ways. You consider yourself a Bond Servant and want to assemble and fellowship with your brothers and sisters, so that both the Northern and Southern tribes of Israel can be united as one, just as Ezekiel had prophesied. (Ezekiel 37) You know that the "New Covenant" is defined as the Torah being "written on our hearts." (Jeremiah 31:31-33)
Or maybe you are new to the Scriptures? Perhaps you grew up knowing of Jesus and some of the stories from the Bible, but don't know how that is relevant to this day and age, or how the Bible can be applied to experiencing a richer, healthier, happier life. You desire peace and can see that this world is becoming more and more corrupt. There are answers to your questions. Come and discover who you are and why you are here.
Or maybe you don't believe in anything at all? Perhaps you haven't experienced what it is like to walk in the spiritual realm, rather than the physical. Has Science been a stumbling block for you? Do you believe that Science proves that there is no God? Maybe you are on your own personal quest searching for truth and have stumbled across this group? Don't be deceived by thinking that things happen randomly. There is no random- you are being led, now answer the call!
