Smokin Dave's BBQ, Estes Park - Sat., May 26, 2012

Members, Guests and Applicants for membership are welcome.

We will meet for a 10 AM (prompt) departure from the HR Shell station. For those up north we will stop for additional riders at the 7-Eleven on 399 N. Washington St., Golden (just off 93) for a short rest stop and 11 AM departure. We will the go up Golden Gate Canyon to Nederland for a short pit stop. We will the continue to Smokin Dave's in Estes Park for lunch at about 1 PM. That should be about 100 miles - good enough even for those metric cruisers with 3+ gallon fuel tanks. We will then decide on a route home. If we take a ride down 36 to Lyons, then trough Bolder and continue on 93 to Golden and home, we should be in the HR area by 5 PM. Optional stop at Buffalo Rose in Golden for a cold one.

Reminder at the start:

• empty bladder

• money in wallet

• air in tires

For those that want to go to breakfast first, meet me at the Village Inn (Broadway and C470) at 8:30 AM. Let me know if you plan on joining me for breakfast.
