This is a beautiful hike with streams and ponds for the dogs to splash in. It starts out very easy, then becomes very challenging. Beginners can turn back - straight in, straight out - before the going gets tough! Finding this parking area is tricky, but worth it. The easiest directions can be found via the Disc Golf websites, since a new course has been installed nearby ( http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=6925).
Central Park of the Morris County Park Commission was created on the site of the old Greystone Psychiatric Hospital. SPECIAL NOTE: Since this park is literally in the backyard of Hike Hounds Canine Adventures, all participants are invited to bring their dogs back to our home for a cold drink and snacks after the hike! It's an acre of fenced in woods, so the dogs can run free! Doggy PARTAY!!!
