Hello Everyone,
I really enjoy the Powder Canyon Trail. It is a great place to hike and meet new and old friends. I hope many of you will join us for a morning of fun, friendship, and health. See you at the trail.

Location: Powder Canyon Park (Meet at front of the Rowland Water District.)
There is plenty of parking space in front of the Rowland of Water District 3021 Fullerton Road, La Habra Heights, California
(Powder Canyon offers hiking, mountain biking, jogging and equestrian trails which offer
scenic views of the San Gabriel foothills, downtown Los Angeles, and surrounding
communities.)
Directions: From west Los Angeles, take the Santa Monica Freeway (10) east and then
the Pomona Freeway (60) east. Exit at Fullerton Road. Turn right onto Old Fullerton Road.
Meet inside the water district parking lot.
From Orange County, take the 57 Freeway north and exit at Pathfinder Road, turn left
(west). On Fullerton Road turn left (south). Turn right on Old Fullerton Road.

Brief Discription: We will meet at 7:00 am (Begin walking at 7:10 am) and hike for about 4 to 6 miles (2 to 3 hours). There are some hills on this hike.
WHAT TO BRING: Please bring at least 4 or more bottles of water, snack if you want, comfortable footwear, sun screen lotion, and a friendly/postive attitude (Hiking is always more enjoyable when we are surrounded by pleasant/positive people with great attitude.).

Please know your limits and sign up only if you are able to keep up with the pace and activity level of this event. Never hike alone. Never leave the group without notifying the hike organizer.
