Berkeley - Intro to Tilden

This is an introductory hike in Tilden Park, for those of you who have never been here, or those just looking for a social outing. We will be hiking for approximately 9 miles and will hit various features of Tilden including Lake Anza, Jewel Lake, and the Little Farm.

The trails are a mix between shaded and exposed. But if the weather holds up as it has this past week, it shouldn't get too hot. We will probaly be out there for 4 hours, so bring enough liquid and snacks to last.

Please note: If you have never been to Tilden and are not familiar with the parking, don't risk it. I will wait at the intersection of Spruce St. and Grizzly Peak Blvd. (just outside the entrance to Tilden Park) . I will be there from 8:30-8:45am so that you can follow my car to the correct parking lot. Please indicate in your RSVP if you plan to follow my caravan.
