Judd 1 mile Loop and Jackass Ginger Pool-- This hike will is open to Dogs
I will start the hike at 2:45 pm but try to be there at 230pm

Bring water for you and your dog, good shoes, bug spray, sunblock, hat, towel and something to swim in if you plan to swim.

If you feel that you or your dog needs a snack you must carry out the trash.

Also bring poop bags because you'll need to carry out anything your dog might make along the trail. Please lets keep Hawaii’s trails clean.

Trailhead Directions
At Punchbowl St. get on Pali Hwy (Rte 61 north) heading up Nu'uanu Valley.
Pass Queen Emma Summer Palace on the right
Bear right on Nu'uanu Pali Dr.
As the road forks, keep right, still on Nu'uanu Pali Dr.
Cross a stream on a stone bridge
Pass Polihiwa Pl. and then several houses on the left.
On the right look for several concrete barriers just before a small bridge spanning reservoir spillway.
Park off the road before or after the bridge

PLEASE make sure ALL DOGS ARE VACCINATED FOR LEPTOSPIROSIS before doing this hike. This water is known to have Lepto in it and be aware even a dog who is vaccinated can still get ot our vaccines only cover a few of the many strains of lepto out there.

Preview: The Judd Memorial Trail is a short loop hike in the Nuuanu Valley. The path crosses the Nuuanu Stream and traverses the north-facing hillside through bamboo, eucalyptus and Norfolk Island pine groves. A side path leads down to Jackass Ginger Pool, a large circular pool with a 10-foot waterfall cascading over rocks into the pool.
