O: Almost full moon Hike above Descanso Gardens - Cerro Negro

O: Sun Aug 18 Crescenta Valley Group Cerro Negro Lookout and Ultimate Destination. Hike under the nearly full moon above Descanso Gardens in La Canada. 4 mi rt, 500' gain on good trails and fire roads. It should be a "Hot August Night", but bring a jacket and "Moon Munchies" to share on the top overlooking the Crescenta Valley, Glendale and L.A. Children over 10 OK with adult.
