Franken-Stairs Series; Hike 1 of 5: 4 miles, 1.5 hrs

Stair hike into fall and explore the neighborhoods in Northeast Los Angeles. Wear a weighted backpack to increase your fun (optional). Added Bonus: Leaders will share an overview of the Wilderness Travel Course (WTC), which begins January 2014, a class about safe mountain travel, from rock scrambling to wilderness navigation and snow camping.
