Hike to Independence Hall

In what other city can you walk to Independence Hall on July 4th! From Chestnut Hill we'll walk through the Wissahickon, then the heart of Fairmount Park towards Independence Hall. We stop at Whole Foods Center City for a bite, then catch the Chestnut Hill West train back to the staring point. We'll fall a little bit short of Independence Hall unless it's cool out.

We'll walk for 10-12 miles. Each hike we take a different route.The Wissahickon is hilly.

Caution: You should be able to walk 3-4 hours without much of a break.
