I love Hoboken but it is very young. When I lived in London I met amazing people through the Singles Thursday Club, which met once a month at various pubs. The age range was more 40+ and was open to singles, (couples could attend also) -anyone who would like to socialize was welcome. Besides conversation, it is also an opportunity to network in a casual, informal manner. Participants buy their own drinks and it is loosely organized.
