This month, Freddie Zeringue, Publisher of Natural Awakenings Magazine will lead our Tribal Learning gathering. Freddie is a personal coach and facilitator in the field of human development and transformation for over 20 years. He is a wise, heart centered soul and dear friend of mine. This evening you will be one of the first to get a sneak peek into his new book, The Art of Flow. With our Tribal Learning group, we’ve had powerful evenings exploring universal laws. Freddie will take it further by sharing insights into The Art of Flow including:
• how we create and manifest each aspect of our lives
• how to clear the SPACE for life to deliver what you have always desired & deserved
• allowing the game to come to you through attraction and intention
• enabling the ultimate act of creation
The kindle edition is available on Amazon.com.
What is the “fundraiser” part to the evening? As much as I (Joni Roberts) would love to be with all of you on this evening, I will be in St. Vincent’s Southside recovering (or possibly on my way home) from major surgery that takes place Tuesday, March 4. Starting end of last year, my life unexpectedly shifted in a way that requires me to focus on my health for a large portion of 2014. Since you are naturally wondering what is going on, I will share that at Christmas I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and am now a reluctant member of the “Pink Team.” BC runs in my family. The good news is that every woman in my family has survived this including my 96-year-old great aunt who had a bilateral mastectomy many decades ago. Nevertheless, it is an ordeal to get through physically, emotionally and financially. Between this surgery and another in mid-summer, I will be off work for 2-3 months. Thanks to the Affordable Care Act—which is one of the many miracles in this journey for me, I have health insurance, access to a team of AAA doctors and the best treatment options available. Since I need max coverage, my healthcare will cost an estimated $7,500 between premiums & co-pays. Healthcare costs + the lost income = the fundraiser!
Come, enjoy, learn, grow, share, bring friends and if you feel inspired, make a love donation by offering a gift that evening or through paypal @ [masked]
If you would like to offer a prayer, I ask for you to send love and light to me, my doctors, nurses, support teams, and caregivers for optimal conditions for healing taking place as it’s happening now. I believe prayer and positivity can influence outcomes so thank you! I am deeply touched and appreciative of the love, support, encouragement, faith and kindness friends, family, care givers and random strangers have shown me during this journey. The toughest part for me so far is acceptance and surrender—letting go of my own agenda for 2014 and allowing my “Art of Flow” to include this experience. As you can see, I need to be with you on Friday, March 7th and I will be in spirit.
With love and gratitude for it ALL! xo Joni ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tribal Learning is a meetup group offered by Evolution Connection that brings together Changemakers and Purpose Driven Entrepreneurs to network, share successes and challenges. The premise is that each person in the "tribe" has valuable knowledge to offer and together we are better than any one alone.
Meetings are led by Joni Roberts, MBA professor and creator of the "Mini MBA for Changemakers" and feature experiential discussion topics and small group interaction to give one another valuable support. Topics will be taken from Turn Your Purpose into Profits, Brilliant Biz Idea?? or Compassionate Leadership workshops as well as various challenges facing entrepreneurs.
Tribal Learning is a way of creating higher performing people and organizations by sharing, collaborating and capturing knowledge. It's the perfect way to continue the conversation with those that you met at Evolution Connection workshops or with new people entering the group. Businesses can be in the idea stage to fully developed.
Tribal Learning is held on the First Friday of each month.
We will network from 6:30 to 7pm, open up the discussions, with more networking at the end.
