The Charlotte Alternative Health meetup is sponsored by Holistic Health Research Institute, a not for profit Organization. We are in the process of obtaining 501 (c) 3 non-profit status Our Missions are: * To build and foster a alternative/complimentary/integrative community of practitioners who work together to empower each other in the complete integrative health process by developing methods of integration that are both unbiased and professional while complete. * To increase public awareness of the benefits of the holistic approach to health and how different alternative/complementary/holistic/integrative modalities when combined with traditional western medical methods create a complete approach to wellness through community programs. * Creation of a referral service which is accessible to the general public and the alternative/complimentary/holistic/integrative medical community for development of total wellness approaches to each individuals needs. * Ensure that these programs benefit people of all economic levels. We welcome Practitioners and Non Practitioners to join and take part in our programs.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
