Parking and Location

There is limited street parking available in the area, but it can be sparse and tough to get. A parking garage is available next door, underneath the CVS, LA Fitness and other shops for $8. You maybe be able to get a little discount on that parking by buying something in CVS and getting validated.

We know that's a steep price for parking, but the good news is that the venue is also located on the #2 bus line and just a couple of blocks from the Hollywood/Highland metro stop. If you live near the Metro, it would be a cinch to hop on board to the Hollywood/Highland red line stop. Don't forget that MTA also has lots of park and ride lots all over LA, so even if you don't live near a Metro stop, you could drive to a park and ride lot (many offer free parking), then ride to the meetup.

Pardon the delay on the video for this everyone. I wanted to make sure the relevant information was visible and easy to read throughout all of the presentations. It should be available very soon!

Sorry kiddos, I'd love to see and meet you all, but client responsibility is trumping our chance to say hi. Enjoy your meet up!

I'm looking to setup my versioning and deployment workflow using WP Stacks, WP Skeleton, and Capistrano. I'm getting an error when trying to run any cap command in terminal. If anyone attending tonight's meetup has any expertise on this topic, please let me know. I'll be the one with the huge red beard.

    • Joe C.

Hey Kyle, I don't use that particular stack, but I do deployments from git, so I'm not really far off-base. Also I'm curious about capistrano, which I've never tried. So if you can't find a real expert, maybe I can at least help figure out where things are going wrong. I'll be the one really impressed by your beard.

Excited for the meetup, I could cover WP 4.0 features if everyone would like; if there is time, should only take 5-10 minutes

Hi Everyone, I have a problem but not a solution. Is anyone able to assist me? I’m using Magic Affiliate for links/ banners (but doesn’t offer coupon codes.) Woo Commerce has coupon codes but not good tracking. I need to create coupon codes for affiliates so I can calculate their monthly commission. All I can see is the amount of coupons used on each code e.g $6. Does anyone know if there is a better way to track and report on sales for coupon codes in Woo Commerce. E.g KellyK $49.95 sales $x coupons used $x commission. I thought an affiliate plugin would have all the features I need for coupons, banners and links. Any help is appreciated!

Kelly, if you come on Wed find me after the presentations and we can discuss and I can try to brainstorm a better solution if you have not come up with one.

Yes, please! Thank you Roy. I may have found one but its a bit over my head. POST AFFILIATE PRO
This is the only platform I have found that uses coupons in their affiliate program.
      - Are you familiar with this site?
      - Can you please asses?

My understanding is that you need to enter the coupon via WooCommerce AND at Post Affiliate Pro. I believe this is the explanation of how it works:

Is this messing with the back end and code for every coupon code? Is there a way to do this without altering/ adding code for non-experts?
