We are excited to announce a tennis tournament.
This will be a fun competition. So please sign up for the division you are comfortable playing in. In order to make the tournament more competitive we will randomly match lower rating with higher rating for each division.
Hoowiz.com will also provide drinks and refreshments for the tournament.
Division:
2.0 – 2.5 double (4.5 or 5 total)
3.0 – 3.5 double (6.5 or 7 total)
4.0 – 4.5 double (8.5 or 9 total)
Entry Fee:
Either one can of tennis ball or $5.00 donated to Hornet’s Nest Tennis
Prize:
Stereo Bluetooth Headsets will be given to the winners of each division
Rules:
Simple 8 games pro-set will be used. The team that achieved 8 games first will win the match, win by two games. Tie-breaker will be played, if the matched are tied at 8 all. Tie-breaker will be the team to achieved 7 points, win by two points.
This is a double elimination. Each team will have to lose twice before being eliminated from of the competition.
