Thank you for all your ideas for our #Festie on Thursday 8 December. As previously mentioned, we've gone for a series of lightning talks. Our theme is: A Calendar of Festivals.
These talks will highlight some of the amazing, creative events coming up in our fine city in 2017. Each one will be just 3 minutes long and use only 3 slides (no intros/outros).
A calendar of festivals
We are delighted that so many people have volunteered to take part. We have 10 speakers confirmed (we might squeeze in one or two more). Here's what to expect:
Infohackits – Jon Bliss from MADE
NorDevCon – Paul Grenyer from Naked Element / Norfolk Developers
Norwich Makers Month – Jayne Evans (1) from The Forum Trust
Norwich Gaming Festival – Daniel Scales
NUA Graduation Show – Sarah Steed from NUA
UEA Literature Festival – Philip Langeskov from UEA
Talking Tech – Bryony Smith from Norfolk Chamber
Norwich Sound and Vision – Jon Clemo from CAN
Norwich Science Festival – Jayne Evans (2) from The Forum Trust
SyncTheCity – John Fagan from Axon Vibe / SyncNorwich
This event will be at NUA's Ideas Factory on St Andrew's Street (not the lecture theatre). Doors open 5:45 for 6pm kick-off and 9pm close. Space will be limited so please book now if you can definitely make it.
Our lovely sponsors at Norwich City Council will once again provide some wine - and Business Writers Limited will sponsor mini-mince pies from The FEED CIC.
We look forward to you joining us for a fun and fascinating #Festie on Thursday 8 December.
Remember to follow @HSNorwich on twitter - and join 1035 people on our LinkedIn group.
Kind regards
Your Hot Source team
