SPECIAL EDUCATION EVENT THIS WEEKEND

AUSTIN ANIMAL CENTER SHELTER RABBIT CARE CLASSES Saturday Feb. 25 and Sunday Feb. 26 2:30-3:30 pm 7201 Levander Loop 512 978 0500 Most HRRN rabbits come from the Austin Animal Center. Now that the beautiful new shelter is open for business, we need HRRN volunteers to spend time at AAC to help these abandoned bunnies make the transition to their forever home. These classes will review how bunny care works at the shelter, exercise protocols, etc. Open to AAC staff and any interested HRRN volunteers. We need volunteers to help exercise and socialize the rabbits at AAC on a daily basis. This is a perfect opportunity for our HRRN friends who live south or east of Austin. No cleaning or heavy physical labor required. Just do what you do best- talk to interested potential adopters who visit the shelter. Even a couple of hours a week would be a great help. Just let us know what works for you!
