What's your dog's name and how old are they? What breed or mix are they? (We're not picky, just curious!)

D'Artagnon is a white Standard Poodle. :)

What area of Houston do you and your dog live in?

We live in Pearland. D'Artagnon was a gift from my mother-in-law. He came from a breeder in Tyler, Texas.

What is your dog's favorite activity? (Dog parks, dog sports, hiking, etc.)

He loves to work, but he also loves to play. He has ever met a person or dog he didn't like. Work hard, play hard, sleep hard: that's my boy. His favorite game is CHASE! (played with other dogs, not people, lol).

Which are you and your dog's favorite Dog Parks? Do you visit the large or the small dog part of the parks? Favorite Dog-Friendly taverns, restaurants and/or establishments?

We love the second Pearland Dog Park, it's inside Independence Park. It was a selling point on our house because it's close and it's really a great one. Being a Service Dog, tho, he gos everywhere with me: stores, restaurants, etc. He's pretty cool with whatever. :)

Are there any special considerations which Members need to be aware of when socializing with Your Dog?

PLEASE DO NOT PET any Service Dog WHILE WORKING. It's distracting and the dog may miss alerting to something important, which could end badly for the handler. It's for safety! When the vest is off they love the lovin' just as much as any other dogs.

Hi, I'm Milissa and I am disabled. My Service Dog is a Standard Poodle named D'Artagnon (dar-TAN-yon). When working, Service Dogs need to focus and are not allowed to play around, so we like to get out and let them just be dogs whenever we can.
