PLEASE TRY TO CARPOOL AND DRIVERS BE CAREFUL WITH DRIVING SINCE THERE MAY BE A LOT OF PEOPLE ON THE ROAD AND SUDDEN STOPS FOR BLUEBONNET SIGHTINGS. PASSENGERS DONT DISTRACT YOUR DRIVER TOO MUCH.
We take a break from intense hiking on this event. We'll experience a little of Texas history, Bluebonnets, and some wine ;-)

Do the tour of historic Fanthrop Inn

Do ~ 3 mile hike of Washington-on-the-Brazos (flowers blooming everwhere hopefully) and Barrington farm to check on the farmer and his turkey.

Along the way and within these stops we hope to see a lot flowers, especially bluebonnets.
Initial Parking & Meeting Point: Park at or near Fanthorp Inn. The website does not give details on parking and so I guess it's street parking.
