Myself and Sagar have been discussing possible talks for the October meeting (this may wind up being our last meeting of the year, I'm not sure of that though).
I think Unit Testing frameworks would be a good night, but we need speakers. So here is what I'm proposing:
Since everyone seems to have their own flavor of testing, and frameworks used I'd like to know if we could get a handful of members to give lightning talks on the framework/nuget package that you use or would like to use. For example, I'd like to see a talk on the new Unit Testing framework that ships with VS2012. Then I'd like to see other frameworks that like MSpec or NSpec. Also if theres any cucumber or SpecFlow users out there to also give a short talk on using these.
If we can get at least 4-5 talks/frameworks I think we can fill the whole night.
The meeting in October would be on the 16th.
Also since I'm no longer in the .NET world I wouldn't be of much help unless we are short on speakers and I can show how I used NUnit, Specflow and Rhino Mocks together. I'd rather not do this and have members give the talks.
So email me if you want to give a talk on a unit testing framework and I'll start a list of speakers and frameworks. If someone already claimed your framework I'll let you know. I would guess the talks need to be under 30 minutes.
thanks, and see you all at our meeting in 2 weeks.
