Furniture creates a special set of clutter management challenges. Too much furniture or pieces that aren’t right for the purpose or space can make us feel overwhelmed and trapped. The high cost of new furniture and the perceived value of heirloom items complicate our decisions about what to buy, keep, or eliminate. And furniture can be difficult to move, clean, or purge.
Our September meetup will explore the intersection of furniture and clutter. We’ll talk about how to optimize furniture in the design of your home, “right-size” your collection to help manage clutter, and dispose of pieces that no longer suit your needs.
Please note: This month’s meetup will be at A Healing Collective (4231 Bellaire Boulevard, Ste. T—map flyer (http://www.clutterfairyhouston.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/ahc-map-flyer.pdf)) on Wednesday, September 21, which is a departure from our usual schedule (the fourth Thursday of each month). We had to change the date to accommodate other scheduled events at A Healing Collective. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our members.

As usual, we’ll open the floor to your questions, success stories, and tales of trouble spots.
We’ll have refreshments, and don’t forget the drawing for a door prize or two! (You must be present to win.)
