This group is for anyone who owns or loves English Bulldogs!! We love other dogs too and realize that many Bullies share their homes with different breeds...and we don't want to leave them out of the fun (as long as they are well-behaved with other dogs)! So join if you have a Bully, want one, or have dogs that need good dog friends!

Please understand that this group was formed solely for the purpose of good will and socializing amongst English Bulldogs and their owners - not as a platform for the breeding, studding or selling of dogs. Re-homing of family pets in a solid and respectable manner is condoned and of course discussions of members' personal experiences with breeders and rescue groups they've acquired dogs from is acceptable. The first mentioned will not be tolerated at meetups or on the group's message board - no exceptions.

Meetups are usually organized on the 3rd or 4th weekend of the month, and we love suggestions for fun and different places that we haven't been before. There is a $5 minimum donation per English Bulldog family required to attend; all overages after covering the monthly fee to Meetup.com are donated either to the facility in which we have the meet-up, if it is in-doors, or the English Bulldog Rescue Network - Houston, to help aid their mission to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome English Bulldogs in need throughout Texas.

*This group is comprised of many FRIENDLY, non-dominant, non-aggressive Bullies, and we want to keep it that way. Thus while this group is meant for socializing dogs and we do understand that some who are new to the group, or being around other dogs in general, may be overwhelmed at first, we will not tolerate a continual over-aggressor and said party will be asked respectfully to refrain from coming again until their dog is more comfortable in larger-scale situations.

*As well, we ask that the health of the dogs who attend be of the highest standard!! Do not bring your dog to the Meetup if its vaccinations are not current, if it's been experiencing or exposed to ANY SIGNS of illness within the last week, or if there are any open sores present on the day of the gathering.)
