This is a group for past and present NICU moms. Any mom with a preemie or a baby who was born with a health issue and spent time in a NICU is invited to meetup to swap stories, encourage current NICU moms, eat, and visit. This is an informal gathering for NICU moms!

As a former NICU mom of twin preemies, I feel there needs to be a place for moms in Houston to connect and support each other through the difficult experience of premature birth, newborn health issues, infant loss, and time spent in a NICU.

This is an ongoing group for current and former NICU moms with a premature baby or sick baby who has had to spend time in a NICU. Premature births and the experiences that accompany them do not compare to anything else. It's one of those life changing events that no one truly understands unless they too have experienced it. As a mom to a preemie you will undoubtably face a roller coaster of emotions and both physical and mental fatigue. What can help you is friendly support from fellow NICU moms that sat, or may even be sitting right next to you, in a very similar chair staring at their tiny preemie in an isolette and wondering what's next?
