This group is for fans of foreign films, independent films, arthouse cinema, short films, cult movies, documentaries, classic movies, and underappreciated cinema from the past. We will go see films at Angelika Film Center, Landmark River Oaks, MFAH, Rice Cinema, Aurora Picture Show, film festivals, screenings at colleges and museums and members' homes. We may be snobs, but we also like a well-made mainstream Hollywood movie.

We support local filmmakers and will attend local screenings. We also go to free advance screenings of indie films AND Hollywood movies.
