Living With Awareness

Description: Are you searching for balance and fulfillment in your everyday experience? This meet up is for people who are seeking to bring greater happiness into their lives. The latest research in Positive Psychology asserts that a happy life consists of three realms of living: the first is a life filled with positive emotion, such as joy, contentment, and pleasure; secondly, it is a life of engagement, in which one is in the flow, fully present in the moment; and it is a life of meaning in which one knows his or strengths and how to use them to serve others. We are sponsored by the Portage Group, a group of educators and coaches dedicated to supporting and encouraging our members to create the life they were meant to live. Meetups will offer seminars around a variety of topics. There will be a fee to cover seminar costs. We invite your suggestions and look forward to accompanying you on your journey to make 2011 the year of a new you!
