What is your major concern about urban disasters?

To single out one 'major' is impossible. The term 'disaster' is too broad. I'm concerned with the equation made by supply lines (food, medical, sanitation) into and out of the city combined with the number of people who depend on them daily and the possibility of a 'katrina' style disruption. Not sure there are enough fishing poles in the city to keep us all fed from the Hudson. That said, I'm aware that kind of disruption is unlikely (and would likely ultimately be remedied), but I was here on 9/11/01 and during the power outage the year after. These things can/do happen.

Grew up in the woods, currently a New Hampshire resident but keep a place in NYC for business (software developer). I have a good deal of practical and combat skills, mostly suited to places that are not this city.
