We will learn how to engage a community in a meaningful way. Lauren Hood is the Acting Director of Liv6 and Co-Founder of Deep Dive Detroit. Formerly, Lauren worked in community engagement and programming with Loveland Technologies, the City of Highland Park, and the Center for Progressive Leadership. Lauren will lead a workshop on community engagement best practices, methods, tools, and resources, with a focus on Detroit.

Native <> Newcomer will pitch their initiative to grow collaboration between the native and newcomer communities for the betterment Detroit.
