About us
About:
This group was started to find vegans and vegan wannabes in the Hudson Valley. We combine Social Events and Social Action by enjoying delicious, healthful vegan food and encouraging others to do so. The more people who choose vegan food, the fewer farmed animals will be raised. You do not have to be vegan to join, just eat like one when you are with us. We get together to learn and to inform others.

Join us for a delicious family-style Thai dinner in Catskill!
We will gather on Saturday October 17th at 5:30 pm at Wasana's Thai Restaurant, located at 336 Main Street #1425 in Catskill, NY.Menu:
Our special vegan menu starts with crispy spring roll appetizers, followed by main dishes including Pad Cashew with veggies, Pad Kee Moul (drunken rice noodles with tofu), Massaman potatoes with veggies, and Pad King with mushrooms and tofu. We'll wrap up the meal with black rice and tapioca puddings for dessert.We look forward to seeing everyone for a great evening of community and food!
RSVP on Meetup and pay separately via Zelle or Check. Payment Deadline is Saturday, October 10th. Space is limited, so unpaid reservations will be removed to allow waitlisted members to RSVP and pay.
Please arrive at 5:30 PM, as dinner will be served family-style promptly at 6:00 PM.
The cost is $35 per person. Payment is due by October 10th. Your RSVP will be counted once payment is received. See below for payment information.

2:00 - 4:00 pmPlease join us for an informal meal to celebrate World Vegan Day at the vegan Garden Cafe restaurant located at 6 Old Forge Road, Woodstock, NY 12498.
Pay your own way but RSVP by October 28 so we may give the venue a head count in advance. No reservations will be accepted after October 28.
Space is limited to 20 so your quick response is appreciated.
Hope to see you there in support of animals and one of our favorite restaurants in the Hudson Valley!
