LED Hooping for Light the Night Walk

The Light the Night Walk is a great benefit walk for Lymphoma and Leukemia awareness and research. As the walk participants make their way on the route, there are different groups of performers with some sort of light/glow element.

Shasta Sevcik looking for any Portland area hooper that has an LED hoop, basic hooping/hoopdance/tricks and a smile to join her and a couple friends at one of the stops! Even if you are a beginner but love to perform and can keep your hoop up, that would be most excellent! She and some of her friends participated last year and the crowd loved the hoops! It was a blast, and a good way to start off your evening.

If you are interested in joining, please RSVP by sending her an email at shastafazi@hotmail.com. She needs an accurate head count by mid-next week so the walk organizer is aware. Last year they were provided with LED leg warmer/furries that we got to keep after the walk. There might be something new this year!

You need to be at her "station" no later than 6:45pm, and music will be provided. She doesn't have the exact location of the spot yet, but it will be close to, if not along the downtown Portland waterfront on either side of the river.

Please see the LED Hooping for Light the Night Walk (https://www.facebook.com/events/527572414002221/?source=1) event page on Facebook for updated details.

Thanks everyone, this will be a fun night! :)

NOTE: I am not hosting the event. Please direct any questions to Shasta via the email provided above. Thank you!
